Beyond Routine Care
Laser Treatments
Pet laser therapy is a safe, non-invasive treatment designed to promote healing and tissue repair. Using a beam of infrared light, the laser penetrates deep into the affected area to stimulate cell regeneration, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain—all without the need for medications, sedation, or surgery.
If your pet has a chronic problem, they will probably need multiple treatments to see improvement. Acute conditions may only need one treatment.
- Arthritis
- Muscle and ligament injuries
- Inflammation resulting from bone fracture
- Lick granulomas
- Abscesses
- Chronic ear infections
- Gingivitis
- Surgical incisions (spay/neuter, dental, etc.)
- Wound healing
We can apply laser treatments to a wide variety of health conditions to pets of virtually any age and size. We cannot use laser therapy to treat patients that have or may have cancer. Call us at 608-244-2555 to schedule an appointment today.
Abdominal Ultrasounds: Internal Imaging
If your pet has ongoing GI issues, is losing weight, has abnormal blood work, an abdominal ultrasound may be the next step into figuring out what is going on.
While x-rays are excellent for looking at bones and the overall size of organs, an abdominal ultrasound allows us to see inside the organs in real-time. This non-invasive, painless imaging tool uses sound waves to create a detailed map of your pet’s internal structures, helping us diagnose conditions that might otherwise remain hidden.
We partner with an outside veterinary specialist who travels to our clinic to perform these scans. This ensures that your pet receives an expert evaluation using state-of-the-art equipment in the comfort of our familiar environment.
Cardiology
Your pet’s heart health is vital to their overall quality of life. While our veterinary team can detect many heart-related concerns during a routine physical exam—such as a heart murmur or an irregular rhythm—getting a definitive diagnosis often requires specialized imaging and expertise.
To ensure your pet receives the most advanced cardiac care available, we partner with a traveling board-certified veterinary cardiologist, Dr. Lydia Soydan with MOVES.
This allows your pet to be evaluated and treated by a heart specialist right here in the comfort of our clinic, using professional-grade diagnostic equipment.
Neurology
The nervous system—comprising the brain, spinal cord, and nerves—acts as your pet's internal command center. When issues arise within this complex system, they can affect everything from mobility, seizures, to behavior changes.
Because neurological conditions are very intricate, we partner with a traveling board-certified veterinary neurologist, Dr. Heidi Barnes, to provide expert consultations and assessments here at our clinic.
