Please call and we are happy to triage your pet over the phone, direct you as to the next best steps, and have you come in if that is the best direction. For some emergencies, we may recommend one of the 24 hour emergency clinics that are best able to care for patients that will require hospitalization and more advanced care.

The following symptoms could be signs of a medical emergency:
- Difficulty breathing
- Ingestion of a foreign object or toxic substance
- Difficulty moving
- Trauma
- Unconsciousness
- Disorientation
- Broken bones
- Cuts or lacerations
- Significant bleeding
- Trouble urinating
- Swollen or tender abdomen
- Seizures
