Meet Dr. Marcella Goff
DVMDr. Marcella Goff is a Veterinarian at Truesdell Animal Care Hospital. Dr. Goff earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2005, and she completed an internship at the Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Annapolis, Maryland. Her largest area of professional interest lies in animal pain management.
Dr. Goff began her veterinary career in 2005 when she worked in mixed animal practice before seeking her internship in emergency veterinary medicine. She explains that she has always been in awe of the strong bond animals and humans have, and that her favorite thing about this career is getting the opportunity to care for that bond on both the animal and human side of things.
Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Goff traveled to Poland before attending veterinary school where she taught English to high school students as a member of the Peace Corps. Now living in Madison, Wisconsin for going on ten years, she planted her roots with her husband, two children, her dog named Ernest, and three cats named Py, Reuben, and Rita. Alongside her love for her career, family, and pets, Dr. Goff also enjoys cross country skiing and going down to her local ceramics studio to make pottery in her free time!
